Club Grading Criteria
 
Level 1 Graded Entry Grade Club
YBL team in at least one age group.
At least one coach at Level 2 or above.
Listed Safeguarding Officer with the YBL.
 
Level 2 Graded YBL team in at least two age groups.
At least one coaches at Level 2 or above.
At least one active assistant coaches at Level 1 or above.
At least one active* referee at Level 1 or above.
At least one active* table official at Level 1 or above.
Listed Safeguarding Officer with the YBL.
 
Level 3 Graded YBL team in at least three age groups.
At least two coaches at Level 2 or above.
At least two active assistant coaches at Level 1 or above.
At least two active* referee at Level 1 or above.
At least two active* table official at Level 1 or above.
Listed Safeguarding Officer with the YBL.

Team Page to have statistics regarding the club displayed; which includes percentage of male/female ratio, coach and officials statistics for the club's members.
 
Level 4 Graded YBL team in all age groups (not including Senior Leagues).
At least one coach at Level 3 or above.
At least three coaches at Level 2 or above.
A 'Club Development Plan/Programme' to help develop your workforce, coaches and players
At least three active assistant coaches at Level 1 or above.
At least two active* Level 2 referees, being on the appointment list for YBL games
At least two active* Level 2 table official or above
Listed Safeguarding Officer with the YBL.

Team Page to have statistics regarding the club displayed; which includes percentage of male/female ratio, coach and officials statistics for the club's members.
 
Level 5 Graded YBL team in all age groups or divisions; including one or more male and female teams
At least one coach at Level 3 or above.
At least four coaches at Level 2 or above.
A 'Club Development Plan/Programme' to help develop your workforce, coaches and players
Have regular 'in-house' or sending members or your workforece, coaches, or players to attend YBL run courses to up-skill their knowledge.
At least three active assistant coaches at Level 1 or above.
At least one active* Level 3 referee, being on appointment list for YBL games.
At least on active* Level 3 table official.
At least three active* Level 2 referees, being on the appointment list for YBL games
At least three active* Level 2 table official or above
At least three active* Level 1 referees.
At least three active* Level 1 t
Listed Safeguarding Officer with the YBL.

Think we have this wrong? Then please contact James Davies, director@ybl.org.uk, with the correct evidence for this to be corrected.  Club grading certificates are normally issued at the beginning of the season; however, you can apply for club to be upgraded when you require.

  *active within the YBL: registered and correctly qualified and participating in games on a weekly to monthly basis.
